about

This is kind of a hangover song. It's trying to describe that second wind after an all-nighter you get after the sun comes up, and you're feeling pretty good, but also pretty spent. Your illusions start to fade and you come to some sober realizations about the world and your place in it.

ANOTHER SINGER
Lyrics: Stephan LaCasse

I haven’t slept since Montreal
It’s been a while since I felt this tall
I’m still spinning from the alcohol
And my ears still ring from the rock ‘n roll

My leather coat still smells like rain

And catch a breeze, ‘cause it’s free

But I can’t shake the ache inside of me

I sit home in my room for awhile
Let a tear fall and kiss my smile
We all have days where we think too much
But it’s a slippery slope to out of touch and...

Breathe deep, release
This isn’t war, just unease
There’s a bunch of roses on the railroad tracks
Somehow exposes what we can’t get back
The clouds are coming and coming fast
The rain exposes the dust-filled cracks and...
