Good things take time. Patience is a virtue. This is a song about having the strength to hold on to love even if it is far away. This song was written based off a riff that Eric had in his head for years, something he would goof around with when he was feeling mellow. One evening jamming at his apartment (which was a dank and tiny basement) I added some melody and words and the rest is history. It was a quick write, but it hit a real nice chord with us, and it continues to be one of our favourites.

The Clearing Toronto, Ontario

Stephan is from the west coast of Canada. Eric is from the East coast. They met in the middle, in Toronto. Now they make music with their acoustic guitars and a little help from their friends.

The Clearing released their debut EP in the spring of 2010, "Comfort In A Sound".
